The extension works great. Good fit, easy to install. The two that I ordered did not come with a set screw as shown in your pictures. And instead of a vertical set screw hole shown, mine were at an angle. So what I did was drill and tap the diagonal hole for a 3/4″ long 8-32 set screw to secure the extension to the mag. I’d have given it 5 stars if didn’t have to do that. And I think I’m an easy grader.

Hi Scott,
We started putting in the bolt from the other side at a slight angle to allow for slight variances in extensions or magazines and still secure the extension on the mag without any slop. With Magpul mags it isn’t as important, but with ARC/AICS/MDT metal AICS mags they have slight length variances so the slightly canted bolt helps account for that.
