Upgrade your Vortex  optic with our Vortex Strike Eagle 1-8x SFP Gen I Throw Lever, speeding up magnification changes and target engagements without breaking the bank. Throw levers are especially useful in a number of different scenarios including but not limited to precision shooting competitions and cold weather hunting.  Our standard polymer Throw Levers are printed using one of our industrial oriented 3D printers. . Our levers are proudly printed in the USA from a custom made durable Nylon 6 material, and feature a metal thread insert for increased strength when tightening. Easily installs in a minute or less. Nylon 6 does not have the tensile strength of aluminum, but is extremely durable and will flex and yield under hard impact rather than damaging or marking your optic. More Information About FDM Printing.

Fused deposition modeling (FDM), or called filament freeform fabrication, is a 3D printing process that uses a continuous filament of a thermoplastic material. Filament is fed from a large spool through a moving, heated printer extruder head, and is deposited on the growing work. The print head is moved under computer control to define the printed shape. Usually the head moves in two dimensions to deposit one horizontal plane, or layer, at a time; the work or the print head is then moved vertically by a small amount to begin a new layer.

I contacted MKM regarding a throw lever for my Vortex Razor HD 5-20×50 scope. I received a prompt reply asking for the diameter of my zoom ring, which I provided (using calipers), 1.755″s. They reco-ed this lever, sent it and it fit perfectly.

Kudos to Tyler at MKM for his prompt customer service. The lever is high quality , robust and made of some form of polymer. Fits and works great. Highly reco the MKM levers at 1/3rd the cost of the Vortex.

Second throw lever from MK machining. Top notch quality and an absolutely unbeatable price. If your on the fence, get with the program and jump on board. Tyler and his crew are incredible. If you’ve got a question about the products just send them an email and they’ll answer it in no time at all. Very happy and super impressed with these products.

I got this Throw Lever several months ago now. The quality is good and it fits well and works fine. I was mostly pleased with it but one thing about it bothered me: Its size. It seemed a bit large and I began to look for something that protruded less. I did find one that I like much better and now use it instead.

Pleasantly surprised. On my first SE 1-8 I went with the Vortex throw lever. Works just fine. This time I decided to see if I could save a little money. I was VERY LEERY of going to a plastic throw lever.

Well, today I set up my rifle & scope. I’ll be damned. Put it all together and forgot to put the lever on….lol. It slid right over the folded down bus. Took me 3 adjustments to get it right where I wanted it for maximum ease of use.

I love how the grooves are spot on and there is only 1 screw to tighten. Worried the lever itself would be TOO BIG. Not at all. If anything it’s size and mass are a huge plus. Worked it back and forth a few times and it worked flawlessly.

I am happily surprised and highly recommended this throw lever to all.

For what it’s worth: I just go to the range and plink. I’m not a prepper or worried about a zombie apocalypse. But if the SHTF – I think this lever will handle just fine.
